About

HI! I'm Sara Eker, founder of Club Spirit, and your Fitness, Nutrition, and Mindfulness Coach.​

I have a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Psychology, where I specialised in Exercise Psychology, an SNHS Diploma in Holistic Nutrition, and am a Nutritarian Life Coach. I'm also a Body Control Pilates Instructor, a YMCA Fitness Teacher, Mindfulness Coach, Menopause Researcher, and Affiliate Member of the British Menopause Society.

As a single, working mum of 53, and going through the menopause too, I put my 'first' career as a singer/songwriter to one side to concentrate on building up Club Spirit. This 'second' career fits in better around my home life, and I've spent the last 10 years researching how to make myself, and others, feel better through the menopause.

I put on a stone when I hit perimenopause at 43, (and at 5'1" that was a lot for me). I worked out how to get it off and keep it off, and fit back into all my clothes. I understand how depressing it can be to stand looking at your wardrobe thinking 'nothing fits anymore'. And hating what you see in the mirror....

I turned that all around and now help other women get back into their jeans, and feel fit, energised and confident again.

Without counting calories (boring and unsustainable) or working out like a crazy person.....

We can't keep eating, drinking and working out the same way we did in our 20's....

I'm passionate about helping women over 40 learn the right way to do all that, and feel great, in this new chapter of our lives.....

I work with Dr. Clare Searle, our menopause specialist GP.

She's as passionate as I am about helping women understand what's going on in their bodies through and post menopause, and what they can do to reduce debilitating symptoms, and start feeling so much better.

We are one of the only platforms that provides menopause lifestyle solutions AND medical solutions all in one place.

If you're over 40 and not particularly feeling menopausal yet, it can kinda creep up on you. You can have peri-menopausal symptoms for up to 10 years before you actually go into menopause, so it's great to be ready for it, and if you start adding these practices into your life now, chances are you'll have a much easier ride.....
